DSSSB PRT Exam 2025 Overview

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) conducts the PRT (Primary Teacher) recruitment exam to select candidates for teaching positions in Delhi government schools. For 2025, DSSSB has announced 1,180 vacancies for the post of Assistant Teacher (Primary).

DSSSB PRT Eligibility Criteria 2025

  1. Educational Qualification:

    • Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR

    • 4-year B.El.Ed OR equivalent qualification as per NCTE norms.

  2. CTET Qualification: Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

  3. Language Requirement: Must have studied Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at secondary level.

  4. Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (age relaxation applicable as per category).

DSSSB PRT Exam Pattern 2025

The DSSSB PRT exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 200 marks. The duration is 2 hours with 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
